Telecenter Operations and Marketing Plan

10
Financial FeasibilityThe Telecenter in it's temporary site would not be financially feasible if taken from a straight line business and operations plan as in chapters 5 and 6. However, with the significant contributions of the strategic partners: Oregon Institute of Technology, Klamath Community College, the Work Connection, Klamath County Library, and Klamath County Economic Development, and of those organizations working as the South Central Oregon Telecommunications Consortium, the Telecenter in Klamath County will be a successful venture.
Further, the current start-up and operations budgets are built upon a certain set of revenue and operating assumptions, should any of these assumptions change the overall feasibility of the Telecenter will also change.
Additionally, it is important to emphasize that without the continued contributions of the these key strategic partners, without on-going fundraising and marketing plans and efforts, and without a dedicated revenue stream the Telecenter as it grows to its permanent site, and later to a TeleVillage will have challenges in meeting it's operations, equipment, and research and development costs.
